LivPadel at Knysna Hollow

Haven’t you heard?

It’s called Padel and it’s one of the fastest growing new sports that is catching fire across South Africa. A mix of squash and tennis, Padel is the latest buzz word among keen gym-goes or sports club members – and no doubt if you’ve heard about it someone has tried to talk you into giving it a go.

And for good reason! Thanks to its simplicity, low cost and appealing social scene, Padel has been a hit since it launched in SA.

For the unacquianted, Padel is played in a 10 x 20m glass-walled court – roughly half the size of a tennis court – and gameplay is almost identical to tennis, with the key differences being that you can use the walls surrounding the court to play the ball into or off of.

People have flocked to Padel courts over the past few years because it’s easy to get the hang of, doesn’t require any special equipment, is fun, fast and can be done in an hour – perfect to squeeze into your lunch break.

Now at Knysna Hollow, LivPadel has made it their mission to make padel accessible in a safe space for families & friends to get together, get out & get active. And their first site is at Knysna Hollow!

There are two courts at Knysna Hollow as well as change rooms and shower facilities. Players are welcome to freshen up after their game and head back to work or onto their next appointment.

Knysna Padel Pro Shop

As well as showers and change rooms, the on-site Pro Shop stocks a wide range of top quality Padel products. From racquets and shoes, to bags and balls, the Pro Shop has got you covered to look like a pro on the court!

Food & Drinks

For refreshments after the game pop into Knysna Social Eatery for full food and beverage offering on site. Stay a little longer and chat about your game over drinks or grab a bite to eat off of our menu which you can find below.
