The town of Knysna is a 5-minute drive from Knysna Hollow and offers an eclectic mix of shops, boutiques and restaurants. The world-renowned craft markets feature hand-made art from the local community and for an authentic ‘living-local’ experience including a ‘Shebeen’ meal, a Township Tour is a must.  The Knysna Waterfront and Thesen Islands also offer all-day waterside shopping and dining options, as well as a variety of activities and excursions including ocean-based whale-watching in season, lagoon cruises and sailing charters.
